Up for sale is my late-1980s Charvel Model 4 in Cherry Metallic. I have owned this guitar since the mid-1990s, and it has always been one of the best bolt-on Charvels I’ve played. No question: this is a serious rock and metal machine.

The neck is fast, comfortable, and perfect for shredding. It plays smoothly, sounds huge, and has the classic Charvel feel that made these guitars so respected among rock and metal players.

This guitar has been upgraded with KH20 EMG set (with EMG 81 in the bridge position, which in my opinion is one of the best active bridge pickups ever made. The middle and neck pickup is an EMG S, giving the guitar a very versatile setup with strong attack, clarity, and excellent sustain.)

The guitar is in very good condition overall, especially for its age. The frets still have plenty of life left. There are two visible dings on the front side of the body, which I have tried to show clearly in the photos, but overall the guitar presents very well and is in great shape.

Includes a high-quality soft gig bag.
