This model pairs the Shires Q11 bell with a QR reverse leadpipe, creating an open, resonant setup with excellent projection and a clear, centered feel. The Q11 bell is a 4 13/16" one-piece, hand-hammered yellow brass bell with a round brass bead and a more open taper, giving the instrument a full orchestral sound with plenty of color and presence.

The QR reverse leadpipe features a .348" venturi in heavyweight yellow brass, offering a free-blowing response with well-defined slots. The result is a C trumpet that feels open without becoming vague, powerful without becoming unruly, and responsive enough for the real-world demands of orchestral playing.
