Vintage 1970s Rogers Round Top Drum Throne – Excellent Lightly Used Condition
Classic 1970s Rogers tripod drum throne with the iconic round brown seat. This is a super solid, well-built piece from Rogers’ prime era — never gigged, only light home use and long-term storage.
Condition Details:
- Seat vinyl is supple with great patina and only two very tiny nicks on the edge (see close-up photo with Fender medium pick for scale — they’re tiny and barely noticeable in normal use).
- Chrome tripod base and height adjustment mechanism are clean, shiny, and function smoothly.
- Confirmed weight: 11 lbs bare.
- The three original rubber feet show typical age-related wear/cracking (still attached and functional, but not perfect — inexpensive to replace).
- Everything else is in outstanding shape for a 50+ year old throne.
This throne is comfortable, stable, and has that perfect vintage Rogers look and feel. It collapses nicely for storage or shipping and would pair beautifully with any period-correct Rogers kit.
Priced fairly for its solid overall condition. Minor cosmetic wear is expected and disclosed on any vintage gear this age.
