This is a Tom Delonge inspired Stratocaster parts guitar built from Squier 70's Classic Vibe parts along with aftermarker parts, based on his actual custom shop "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket" era white guitar instead of the recent Fender releases.
The hardtail body is made of poplar with:
- Seymour Duncan Invaderâ„¢ High Output Ceramic Humbucker
- CTS 500k Audio Volume Pot
- Switchcraft USA input jack
- American Fender Strat jackplate
- American Offset Steel Saddle Hardtail Bridge
- Warmoth custom order 1 Ply 50's style 8-hole white pickguard
- Allparts MIJ extra heavy knurl chrome knob (with a more authentic knurl than on the recent Fender release)
The indian laurel neck has had the headstock completely refinished with:
- Custom designed gold foil "Fiendr handmade knock off" 69' Stratocaster style decal
- 2 pin modern tuners
- Allparts roller string tree
- Bone nut
- Fretboard oiled and darkened with Montypresso Relic Wax
Weight: 6.7 Pounds
Recently strung with 11's, intonated and set up with low action.
Conditions to note: The back of the headstock was stamped "used" with the serial number scratched out, which is why i decided to refinish it. I sanded it smooth as best I could but there still a small indentation visible from certain angles.
I am not a professional luthier by any means, but I have been building partscasters and modding/fixing guitars as a hobby for over 17 years. Check out the "sold" listings on my shop page for previous Delonge strat builds.
Feel free to send me a message before purchase if you have any questions.
