A Gibson Custom Shop '1963' model SG Junior. In very good condition, including frets and hardware.
Nice low slinky action, had full setup recently. Some scratches and tiny little marks but you can't really see them in a normal light and need to look really close.
I tried to capture everything nicely have a look at the pictures, it has beautiful wood grain.
Custom shop uses vintage light nitro finish which will age beautiful way just like the vintage guitars did.
Gibson VOS (Vintage Original Spec) finish is a treatment from the Gibson Custom Shop designed to make new guitars feel and look like well-cared-for vintage instruments. It features a lightly aged nitrocellulose lacquer with a hazy, less-glossy look, alongside tarnished hardware, simulating decades of light use without heavy relicing.
Neck has a nice feel full but not too fat just perfect. No neck dive, sits very nicely with a suede strap.
It is very resonant and weighs 2.6 kg / 5.7 pounds so no bad backs here comparing to a les pauls.
Supplied with original heavy duty Gibson Custom case and Custom Shop case candy.
This 'Custom Shop' SG guitar is not to be confused with cheaper Gibson 'USA' models that look similar.
This the closest you can get to a vintage guitar, but without problems that vintage ones come with.
