The Rebirth of the Stave Shell

Where old-world woodworking meets modern acoustic engineering, you find the Pearl Stavecraft Ash Snare Drum. Unlike traditional ply drums, this snare is constructed from solid, thick-cut staves of premium Ash, meticulously arranged in a vertical grain pattern. The result? A drum that breathes, resonates, and projects with a raw, uninhibited voice that needs to be heard to be believed.

The DadoLoc Advantage

At the heart of this 14x6.5" powerhouse is Pearl’s exclusive DadoLoc technology. Instead of relying solely on standard glue joints, each Ash stave is interlocked using a proprietary tongue-and-groove channel. This drastically increases the shell's structural integrity by over 50%, allowing the drum to behave as one single, solid acoustic unit. It delivers a blistering, articulate crack, an ultra-focused fundamental pitch, and a massive tuning range that holds its ground under heavy hitting.

Organic Aesthetics, Premium Performance

Finished in a gorgeous, understated Natural exotic lacquer, the Stavecraft lets the stunning, rugged grain of the Ash wood take center stage. But it’s not just about looks. Outfitted with heavy-duty MasterCast die-cast hoops and Pearl's ultra-smooth Click-Lock strainer, this snare provides razor-sharp rimshots, flawless tuning stability, and ghost-note sensitivity that jazz cats and metalheads alike will obsess over.
