Personal Thoughts:
The American Elite Strat is one of Fender’s best modern S-types in my opinion, because it keeps the familiar Strat feel but adds a lot of genuinely useful upgrades. The compound neck shape is a big part of that, as it tends to feel very natural in the lower positions but faster and more supportive higher up the neck. The 9.5" to 14" compound radius, medium jumbo frets and locking tuners all make it a very easy guitar to get on with as well. I also think the 4th Gen Noiseless pickups are a strong feature here, especially for players who want cleaner, quieter operation without losing too much of that classic Strat identity. The S-1 switching gives it a bit more range too, which makes it a great all-rounder. A very smart USA Strat and a really practical modern Fender.
