Welcome to Vintage Emporium! You're looking at a Fender George Fullerton 50th Anniversary 1957 Stratocaster Guitar/Amp Set. Built in 2007 marking the 50th Anniversary of the 57 Strat, this set was limited to 150, and is extremely rare to come by. It also comes with a Fender Pro Junior Amp in Tweed. The guitar was Masterbuilt by Greg Fessler and feels like a truly top of the line instrument. The fit and finish is perfect and way it feels in hand is the mark of a top luthier putting out his best work. Featuring an period correct 2-color sunburst finish, 57 Style Soft V, 7.25" neck radius, 21 vintage style frets, and 50s Strat Single Coil Pickups hand-wound by Abigail Ybarra, this guitar is essentially a vintage 57 strat built by the best. This guitar was professionally setup with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .10 gauge strings. The action is excellent, the neck is straight, and the frets are essentially new. Masterbuilt Fender guitars are special instruments and this is no exception. The guitar played effortlessly and resonated beautifully. It has all the charm of a vintage stratocaster, but with playability and comfortability only found from Master luthiers. After setting it up, I gave it a quick play and was astounded by the tone and even more so the feel of this instrument. The neck on this was truly wonderful and had that feeling of a guitar you just don't want to put down. If I had the money, I would no doubt be adding this guitar to my collection. Although it is a collectors piece, this guitar is begging to be played to share its unbelievable tone with the world. The Abigail Ybarra pickups are highly touted for their tone and vintage accuracy and after playing this I can confirm that to be true. This guitar weighs 7 lbs. 8 oz., an excellent weigh for a Stratocaster.

A quick word about the Fender Pro Junior in the tweed finish. This is an excellent small combo that has stuck around since the early 90s in Fenders catalogue and for good reason. These little combos can roar and paired with this Masterbuilt Strat, crank it up and you're in that classic tweed overdrive territory. Revered by players like Greg Koch, Pro Juniors are amongst the best Fender amps still being built.

This guitar and amp set is in mint condition. It was never played by its original owner who was a collector who appreciated fine instruments, but was not a player. The guitar comes in its original tweed hardshell case. The latches on the case have corroded quite a bit, but the guitar is in mint condition. The amps tweed covering shows minor signs of aging, but functions as it should. I contacted Fender for the exact specs and will be attaching that photo if you have further inquiries about the specs.

Overall, Greg Fessler and the Fender Custom Shop knocked it out of the park with this one. With its sweet tone, perfect playability, and stunning period correct looks, this guitar is going to make its next owner a very happy picker. This set doesn't come up for sale often so grab it now and add it to your collection!
