KEITH McMILLEN 12 STEP AND FOOT CONTROLLER/BASS PEDALS AND MIDI EXPANDER UNIT
These two Keith McMillen units are in excellent unused condition. Per manufacturer, the 12 Step uses a familiar keyboard layout that makes it easy to play single notes or up to five note chords per key. Legato and toggle modes hold notes to create pads and backing harmonies. In addition to responding to changes in velocity, the 12 Step’s keys also respond to pressure and tilt, making them perfect for bipedal operation of volume swells and filter cutoffs. An expression pedal can be mapped for further control (expressive poly aftertouch and pitch bend for example). It connects to external hardware via MIDI over USB. Step editor software can be accessed on the KMI website. The Midi Expander enables the Softstep, 12 Step, or QuNeo to control external MIDI hardware through MIDI in/out ports. It can be used portably with any McMillan controller and with or without a computer. Sale includes cover, cables, and power supply as shown.
