Offering my 2007 Bourgeois Petite Jumbo DBJ.
European Spruce top, Curly flame Maple back and sides.
This guitar is just magnificent, and is really as close to "Mint" as possible, but I’ll call it "Excellent" just for some very minor swirls throughout.
Built during the developmental period while they were introducing the DBJ model (see attached letter in my pics), it’s sort of unique. They were still apparently working out the final Specs for the DBJ and Petite Jumbo, and this one was made during that time.
The Maple flame looks like something you’d see on a AAAA Les Paul, just amazing! The Ebony fretboard and bridge are absolutely Black as night. And the subtle Bearclaw of this European Spruce top is just perfection.
Each note rings with just the sort of superlative overtones you’d expect from one of Dana Bourgeois' individually voiced tops, and the action and feel of the neck is just awesome.
