Original Vintage Bill Lawrence BT-2 Mad Cat telecaster in gorgeous playing condition!
Commonly known as “The Prince” telecaster these Moridaira mfg Mad-Cat guitars were also sold under the Hohner, and H.S. Anderson brands. This Bill Lawrence model is an exceptionally good playing example, and one of the only “Nashville“ 3 pickup models I’ve encountered.
The finish has aged to a lovely, honeyed amber hue, and the natural wood grain shines through beautifully. These were incredibly well crafted instruments; top of the pops in japanese craftsmanship and design.
She plays as good as she looks. Effortless neck, excellent frets, and the custom Bill Lawrence designed pickups are suuuuper spanky and detailed. The bridge position is crazy twangy, and perfect for diggin in on some chicken pickin. Killer axe.
She has tons of patina finish, and legit natural play and road wear, all earned, all included at no extra charge. -no cracks, breaks, or funny business. She ships in a quality gig bag, not pictured. Enjoy!
