Meyer New York USA Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece refaced by Richard Hawkins
This vintage Meyer New York USA Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece was refaced by Richard Hawkins for me after I found it. It measured way over 1.30mm and he brought it down to 1.21mm. The facing window is wide and works well with Rigotti reeds or with Legere European Cut reeds, but lighter sizes of either due to the large tip opening. Would be a great jazz, Dixieland, early swing, or ethnic styles mouthpiece. Again, please understand this is a very large tip opening and slightly wider than normal at the tip of the reed. It does play clear and bright, and can produce a very loud tone with the right size reed. No need for so many extra mouthpieces, selling a few on my account. Please ask me any questions you may have.
