The Gibson ES-335 50s captures the feel and response of the earliest ES-335 models with vintage-inspired construction, a fuller Rounded C neck profile, and hand-wired electronics. Its maple/poplar/maple semi-hollow body paired with a solid maple centerblock delivers a balanced voice with strong sustain, controlled resonance, and exceptional versatility across a wide range of styles.
Finished in Vintage Tobacco Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, this version channels classic late-’50s Gibson aesthetics while remaining highly functional for modern players. A pair of Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups provides rich harmonic detail, warm lows, and articulate top-end response, making it equally comfortable for clean chord work and driven lead tones.
