Grone Wave is the latest addition to the Grone family, based on a lo-fi sample player engine. It contains four banks of 16 preset samples, delivering 8-bit textures filled with aliasing noise. Ideal for ambient, musique concrète, noise, and other experimental soundscapes, it provides intuitive control for crafting unique sonic creations.

Sample player

• Four sample banks, each with 16 samples.
• 8-bit resolution with distinct aliasing noise for creative textures.
• Sample Rate slider adjusts sample pitch smoothly over a wide range.
• Sample Select slider chooses one of the 16 samples from the current bank.
• Sample Start pot sets the starting point for the current sample.
• Sample End pot sets the endpoint for the current sample.
• Reverse button reverses sample playback while pressed.
• Sample Level pot controls output volume from the sample player into the filter.
• Sample bank switches (A and B) select one of four sample banks.
• External trigger input for retriggering samples via sync signals, gates, or clocks.

Filter

• MOJ transistor ladder low-pass filter with resonance.
• Filter Cut slider adjusts the filter's cutoff frequency.
• Resonance (Rez) pot controls resonance (Q/peak) at the cutoff point; capable of self-oscillation at higher settings.
• VCF Mod pot adjusts the amount of modulation from the low-frequency oscillator.

Low-Frequency Oscillator (LFO)

• Modulates the filter and provides varied waveforms.
• Rate slider sets the LFO speed.
• Waveform pot selects one of eight waveforms:
• Ramp up
• Ramp down
• Square
• Triangle
• Sine
• Sweep
• Random levels
• Random slopes

Clouds

• Based on Mutable Instruments’ Clouds module with Parasites firmware.
• Input Gain, Position, Size, Density, Pitch, Texture, and Blend controls from the original Clouds.
• Switches for Parameter Display and Load/Save, matching the original Clouds layout.
• Freeze Function: Includes an LED indicator for freeze status.
• Reverb slider adjusts the reverb amount.
• Feedback pot controls feedback intensity.
• Blend pot balances wet and dry signals.
• Pan pot adjusts stereo panning.
