Enter vintage-era of great tones with this Fender Vintera 50's Telecaster in Sunburst! This guitar was built to honor Fender's golden era with all the style, feel, and tones of those legendary instruments. And, this one has the added bonus of significant upgrades.
The vibrant alder slab body comes with the classic single-cut contour with a vintage-style Sunburst gloss finish. The bolt-on maple neck comes with a sleek gloss and an early '50s -shaped profile. This thicker profile really fills the hands well and with its 7.25" radius maple fingerboard and 21 vintage-style frets and black dots gives you the full vintage feel.
Fire up great sounds with its pair of two vintage-style Lollar '52 single-coil pickups. These are esigned to replicate the early Telecaster sound, using Alnico 2 magnets and 43-gauge wire to produce a warm, clear tone with smooth treble and a soft attack. This is the way to nail the tone that so many guitarists have sought for so long. Control your tones the classic way with its Master Volume, Master Tone, and 3-way selector. This Tele has also been been upgraded under the hood in the form of a KD Paulus wiring harness with CTS pots and .22 Orange drop caps. It also had a nice Switchcraft output jack installed.
It doesn't stop there - the vintage-style bridge has been upgraded with Wilkinson brass Compensated saddles. You also get the classic chrome knobs and control panel, and vintage-style tuners.
A nice gig bag is included, and inside you'll find the original pickups, electronics and saddles.
