The MSM100 is an AZ series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2019. It is the second signature model produced for Italian progressive metal/ instrumental rock guitarist Marco Sfogli, replacing his previous MSM1. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.
The MSM100 features a 4mm thick AAA-grade flame maple top on an alder body bolted to an S-Tech roasted maple neck with an S-Tech roasted maple fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets, abalone dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a Gotoh T1802 synchronized tremolo bridge, a bone nut, and Gotoh locking tuning machines with height-adjustable posts.
The MSM100 differs from the standard AZ guitars primarily in the electronics. Rather than Seymour Duncan pickups with the dynaMix 5-way coil-split switching, it has DiMarzio pickups with a simple 3-way switch.
The MSM100 was discontinued in 2020 as Sfogli and Ibanez parted ways.
