2007 Ernie Ball Music Man USA StingRay 5 HH with Rosewood fingerboard in a Honey Burst finish. First unveiled in 1987 as an addition to their StingRay line, the StingRay 5 has been a go to instrument for extended range and tonal flexibility. This model features the signature contoured StingRay body in a honey burst finish equipped with two Alnico humbucking pickups. Tone controls include master volume, treble eq boost/cut, mid eq boost/cut, and bass eq boost/cut. There is also a 5-way switch that does the following: position 1 - bridge humbucker; postition 2 - outer single coils; position 3 - both humbuckers; position 4 - inner single coils; position 5 - rhythm humbucker. The neck is constructed of maple and shaped to a slim C shape. The fingerboard is an 11" radius Rosewood fingerboard containing 22 frets. Truss rod adjustment access is at the heel of the neck and can be accessed without disassembling the neck from the body. The headstock features 5 Music Man branded tuners. There are a few minor cosmetic blemishes on the instrument which includes a couple minor paint chips along the edge of the body, a small lacquer crack on the top and another on the body along the neck pocket. The pickup poles show some wear as well. Nonetheless this bass is in near perfect condition for it's 19 years of age. The frets have been cleaned and polished, the fingerboard has been treated, the pots have been cleaned as best as possible, the bridge hardware has been cleaned, the truss rod has been adjusted properly, string height and intonation has been set. This instrument is ready to be played! This bass comes with it's original hardshell case.
