The SR505E features a double-cutaway okoume body bolted to a jatoba and walnut neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Bartolini BH2 passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a bypassable three-band EQ, an Accu-cast bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
