Awesome Olds Recording Cornet from 1954. Serial #115xxx. It has normal lacquer wear for the age but no pitting. I had a couple dings removed from the 2nd valve slide. Valves have good compression and don’t show excessive wear. All the slides and third valve trigger move freely. It’s worth noting that these recording cornets used a larger mouthpiece shank than standard.. that said, I am incuding two Curry cornet mouthpieces, both with the correct olds shank size. A 5DC and a 3TF, (which will get you more into flugel territory). Also included is a nice new protec cornet case.
