Overall condition is excellent plus and we believe that you will agree.

The MXR Prime Distortion guitar effects pedal lets you conjure massive vintage overdrive. With a simple three-knob interface, you can dial in a versatile range of tube-like tones in seconds. The Output control adjusts the volume, the Tone shapes the EQ and the Distortion sets the intensity of grit. Each responsive knob significantly impacts the character of your tone—from a mellow breakup to an all-out rock roar and everything between.

Responsive Amp-Like Feel

Once you've found your sound, you'll notice the Prime Distortion's amp-like sensitivity that responds to your playing dynamics and guitar controls. Whether you roll back your volume knob for a cleaner rhythm tone or dig in for a searing lead, this pedal translates every nuance. And thanks to a low-noise design, your tone comes through loud and clear without unwanted hiss or buzz.

Classic Distortion in a Stompbox

The Prime Distortion packs the warm, amp-like overdrive of vintage distortion pedals into a compact, gig-ready stompbox. Its tone harks back to the golden age of rock while giving you modern reliability. Simply plug your guitar into the Prime Distortion, send its output to your amp, and you'll be ready to tear into some serious rock riffs.

Simple Tone-Crafting Tools

With just three controls, the Prime Distortion couldn't be easier to use. But don't let its minimal interface fool you—those three knobs provide a surprisingly wide tonal palette. Roll back the Distortion for a touch of grit, boost the Tone to cut through the mix and increase the Output to push your amp into overdrive. In seconds, you'll find your own signature sound.
