Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a well loved Gibson Les Paul Special from 1995 in the classy Wine Red finish. There’s a worn in patina to the finish and a few battle scars, but it plays incredibly well and has those responsive Soap Bars we all love. It even comes with the fancy Gibson case with the pink shroud. It's the rarer single cut version, and it’s only 7.7 lbs.
The nut measures 1.67”, neck depth is .80”-.92” at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It’s s Gibson’s medium C carve of the era and will be very familiar to many. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Two original roaring P100s that can clean up quite well.
There is a wood fill piece on the body below the controls. It’s been painted and sanded to match with Nitro Lacquer. There are scratches, dings and dents as pictured. The clear coat is spotty and it creates a cool relic.
