Martin ukes were not serial numbered so this instrument cannot be dated precision. However, the case is a style typical of circa 1970. This instrument is in exceptionally fine original condition with the exception of having been set up with a replacement bridge with individual saddles. In other respects it conforms to the typical specifications of the model for the period in which it was made with 14 frets clear of the body, mahogany neck, top, back and sides, Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, CF Martin peghead decal logo, single ring soundhole rosette, tortoiseshell – grain nitrocellulose plastic bindings on the top and back edges of the body and original hard shell case.
