The DiMarzio DP192FBC is the F-spaced version of the Air Zone™ humbucker in a black/cream ("Zebra") finish. It is designed as a vintage-voiced, lower-output alternative to the high-gain Tone Zone®, offering a "breathy" quality with improved sensitivity and dynamic control.

Condition is Excellent showing very little (if any) player use.

Specifications

  • Magnet Type: Alnico 5
  • Wiring: 4-conductor for versatile split and series-parallel options
  • Output: 323 mV
  • DC Resistance: 17.49 kΩ
  • F-Spacing: Features a wider pole-piece spacing (52mm outer-to-outer) specifically for guitars with tremolo bridges or wide-spaced fixed bridges, such as Fenders or Floyd Rose systems.

Tone & Performance

  • Sound Profile: Described as having a "big bass response" and "cool harmonics" similar to the Tone Zone®, but with a more open, vintage feel. It is highly regarded for its wide dynamic range, responding accurately to soft or hard picking.
  • Airbucker™ Technology: Utilizes a patented design that reduces magnetic pull on the strings, which increases sustain and prevents notes from becoming "muddy" as they fade.
  • Versatility: While primarily used in the bridge position for rock and blues, it is also recommended for the neck position by jazz players seeking a warm, hollow-body archtop sound from a solid-body guitar
