In the end, isn’t this the kind of guitar players always come back to? The ES-335 remains the benchmark for semi-hollow guitars.

Gibson ES-335 now in stock.

This 2005 model represents the timeless appeal of Gibson’s legendary semi-hollow design, combining classic looks with outstanding practicality and versatility.

Its center block construction balances the open resonance of a hollowbody with the control and stability of a solid guitar. You get the warmth and airiness expected from a semi-hollow instrument while maintaining clarity and definition even with overdrive.

The body uses Gibson’s traditional 3-Ply Maple/Poplar/Maple construction, delivering smooth compression, rich mids, and natural attack. Clean tones are warm and dimensional, while driven sounds offer sustain, bite, and excellent articulation. Equally comfortable in jazz, blues, rock, or pop settings.

The Sun Burst finish perfectly suits the ES-335 style, giving it an elegant and mature appearance. It is a design that has remained iconic for decades for good reason.

Its set-neck construction provides smooth sustain and resonance, while the balanced 3.92kg weight contributes to a solid, stable tonal response. Chords sound full and cohesive, while single notes sing with natural sustain.

Considering its age, the guitar remains in very clean overall condition and plays extremely well. A dependable and inspiring instrument ready for many more years of use.
