The ESP LTD EC-400QM combines a classic single-cut design with modern features aimed at serious players who want high-end performance without an extreme price tag. It uses set-thru neck construction and a 24.75” scale length, giving the guitar excellent sustain and easy access to the upper frets. The body is made from mahogany with a quilted maple top, finished in a striking See Thru Black Sunburst with white binding around the body, neck, and headstock for a premium look. Its three-piece mahogany neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard and 22 extra-jumbo frets, making it comfortable for fast playing and wide bends. The guitar is equipped with a TOM-style bridge, locking tuners, and black hardware for dependable tuning stability and solid performance on stage or in the studio. For tone, the EC-400QM features a set of active EMG pickups: an EMG 81 in the bridge for tight, aggressive rhythm tones and an EMG 85 in the neck for warmer leads and smooth cleans. Altogether, it’s a guitar built to handle hard rock and metal especially well while still being versatile enough for other styles.
