Martin 000M Natural 2005 USA w/OHSC – Spruce Top Mahogany Auditorium

I am offering a Martin 000M acoustic guitar made in the USA around 2005.

This is one of those Martins that perfectly captures the feel of older, well-played acoustic instruments — lightweight construction, very natural resonance and a warm, organic tone that newer factory-fresh guitars often lack.

The guitar has aged beautifully over the years. The solid spruce top developed a deep honey / amber color, while the mahogany back and sides have a rich dark warmth typical of older satin-finished Martins. Visually the instrument has a very authentic vintage character without looking abused or overly worn.

The hardware shows light natural patina and oxidation consistent with age, which fits the overall aesthetic of the guitar very well. At the same time, the frets were professionally polished and currently feel almost like new, making the guitar extremely comfortable to play.

Tonally this is exactly what many players look for in a well-opened Martin 000:

• warm woody midrange
• soft and controlled low end
• excellent response for fingerstyle playing
• very dynamic and musical character
• balanced projection without excessive brightness

Specifications:

• Model: Martin 000M
• Year: approximately 2005
• Made in USA
• Body shape: 000 / Auditorium
• Top: solid spruce
• Back & sides: mahogany
• Neck: mahogany

The guitar is in very good condition for its age. It shows normal signs of use and natural aging on the finish and hardware, but overall remains very clean and extremely well preserved.

The frets are freshly polished and in excellent condition.

Neck is straight and stable.

Electronics are not installed — this is a fully acoustic instrument.

This is a very nice example for someone looking for a genuine older USA Martin with natural resonance, vintage feel and beautifully aged wood.
