Vintage original 1973 Fender Jazz Bass in original Natural finish.
A wonderful example for the player and collector alike, the bass is completely original - tuners, finish, pickups, wiring, etc.
Weighs 11.5 pounds, It is not as crazy heavy as so many 1970s Fender basses.
Features original 4 bolt construction, way superior to the 3 bolts they did later. Original pickups, wiring and pots make for a fantastic vintage tone. Pots are all dated 1973.
It resonates well and lays down a super fat tone a la John Paul Jones or Geddy Lee, has that very classic tone.
Bass is completely original with the exception of the brass nut.
Comes with a vintage period correct hardshell case, black with purple interior.
