The Avatar Contemporary 212 is the largest 2x12 guitar cabinet in our lineup. With its bold, thick-edged design and stylish piping, this cab delivers both powerful tone and a stage-ready look.
Construction & Features
- Made entirely from void-free Birch Plywood for strength and tone.
- Comes stock with black grille cloth, white piping, and a closed back.
- Two recessed round metal bar handles for easy transport.
- Rear metal jack plate with dual ¼" jacks for daisy chaining additional cabs.
- Optional extra rubber feet can be added to the short side for vertical orientation.
- Four rubber feet included (not shown in some product photos).
- Rear-loaded speakers with T-nuts for easy swapping — perfect for tone experimentation.
- Comese with everything you need except your two 12" speakers.

Input Options
Choose from two input plate configurations:
- Avatar Multi-Jack Plate – Supports 4Ω mono, 16Ω mono, or 8Ω stereo (when using two 8Ω speakers).
- Standard Dual Jack Plate – Fixed mono wiring with in/out jacks for daisy chaining.
Typical wiring setups:
- 8Ω mono: two 16Ω speakers
- 4Ω mono: two 8Ω speakers
- 16Ω mono: two 8Ω speakers
