Carvin LB75P 2001 - Orange Transparent

Updated 2001 Carvin LB75P 5 string bass. Koa body, koa and maple 5-piece neck thru body, ebony fretboard. The P stands for piezo which is an extra pickup on the bridge and has separate 9 volt battery power. The piezo pickup can be used alone or blended with the other pair. The piezo pickup senses the physical vibration directly and trends toward a upright bass tone. I believe this is the first year the piezo pickup was offered. This bass has been professionally refinished as the original finish had a ghosting issue - common for this era. The color is closest to the photos of the bass on the stand. The photos in the case show it a little more orange than real life. Also updated are the fine HipShot tuners that are much smoother to use than the originals. The larger knobs are also new, including the "tree of life" volume, and the small knobs are original. The bass has a wide array of sonic possibilities with the three pickups.
