The Musicmaster was introduced alongside the Duo-Sonic in 1956, as Leo Fender aimed to offer more affordable, smaller guitars primarily intended for beginners. The family expanded in the 1960s with the addition of the Bronco and the Mustang. A light overspray has been applied to the body to preserve the finish. The maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25-inch radius. Its short 24-inch scale makes it very comfortable to play, and it of course has the large CBS headstock typical of the 1970s. Sold with a gig bag.
