The EVH Wolfgang Special Ebony Fingerboard in Stealth Black is all about stripped-down attitude and performance. The basswood body with arched top keeps it resonant and balanced, while the all-black aesthetic makes it stage-ready without flash. If you want something aggressive but refined, this one fits the bill.
The quartersawn baked maple neck with Wolfgang backshape is reinforced with graphite for added stability. The hand-rubbed satin urethane finish on the back keeps it fast and smooth. The 12 to 16 inch compound radius ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets gives you easy chording and wide bends without fretting out. Direct-mount EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbuckers deliver tight low end and articulate highs with strong sustain. The EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo with D-Tuna and Floyd Rose locking nut keeps tuning locked in even under heavy trem use.
EVH-branded Gotoh tuners and chrome hardware round out the build. The 500K low friction volume pot with treble bleed and 250K high friction tone pot give you precise control without accidental movement. We like this one because it keeps the Wolfgang formula intact while offering a clean, understated finish. An EVH Striped Series gig bag is included.
