The S2 McCarty 594 continues this legacy, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the S2 series with special appointments that deliver more tone, beauty, and value than ever before. This guitar takes the classic McCarty platform and enhances it with premium features, making it a truly special instrument. At the heart of this guitar's exceptional tone are the USA-made PRS 58/15 LT ("low turn") pickups. These pickups are the same ones found on the Core McCarty models, and they offer a sweet, vintage-inspired sound with incredible clarity. Designed to capture the best of both worlds, they blend the sparkle of vintage single-coils with the warmth and richness of late 1950s humbuckers. The neck is crafted from Cuban mahogany, a tonewood known for its exceptional resonance and stability, while the classic combination of a maple top and mahogany back provides the perfect balance of snap and sustain.
