G7 Guitars (also written G’7 or G Seven ) is a boutique Japanese guitar builder known for producing ultra-high-end, limited-run instruments. Though low profile internationally, G7 maintains an official website (g7g.biz) and is occasionally featured in special showcase events and dealer exclusives in Japan. The brand is associated with top-level Japanese luthiers , though the precise builder or workshop behind each model is not always publicly disclosed. G7 guitars are most often found in high-end Tokyo retailers or through private import channels and have developed a cult following for their tone, aesthetics, and exceptional build quality. G7 guitars are all about craftsmanship without compromise .
This guitar from G7 is a Telecaster Custom. It features an alder body finished in black and a maple neck with a dark rosewood fretboard and matching black headstock .The body sports front and rear binding. All of the hardware is gold. This model was lightly relic'd at the factory that mainly includes light checking on the front and rear of the body. It's hard to photograph (but I did include some pics), I find it very tasteful.
The guitar is Custom Shop quality and is in excellent condition with minimal playwear beyond the relicing.
The frets show little to no visible wear. It plays very well up and down the neck. The neck size is a typical Telecaster medium with a 9.5" radius and measures 0.82" - 0.93" from the 1st to 12th frets. Weight is 7.6 pounds.
Pickups are VanZandt.
This guitar did not come with a case, but will ship in a new Fender padded gig bag.
