1966 Gibson Melody Maker D with Vibrola in its original Cherry finish—a true vintage piece with tons of character and mojo. This guitar has clearly been played and loved over the years, giving it an authentic worn-in feel that only decades of use can create.

Please note: this is not a completely original example, but it remains a fantastic player-grade vintage guitar.

The tuners have been upgraded to Schaller tuners for improved stability and reliability. A few screws have also been replaced over time. There appears to have been a repair along one side of the headstock extending slightly into the neck. The repair was done well and the guitar holds tuning without issue.

Cosmetically, there is significant player wear (see photos), which adds to its undeniable vintage vibe. The electronics have been cleaned and fully checked to ensure everything is working properly. The fretboard has been cleaned and the frets polished—there are some divots present, but they do not noticeably affect playability or bending.

The original single coil pickups are still intact, and the guitar has not been modified for humbuckers or P-90s, preserving its classic Melody Maker tone.

There is some separation beginning along parts of the neck binding (please refer to photos), but it remains stable as is.

Includes a vintage chipboard case, which is missing its handle—best suited for storage or shipping rather than transport.
