Here for sale we have a Fender Classic Series ‘60s Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue. Made in Mexico in 2015, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 21 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Fitted with Chrome hardware including a 6-saddle vintage style synchronized tremolo and a set of Fender vintage style tuning machines. Three Fender vintage style single-coil pickups are installed and wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck/middle and bridge position tone controls.

The Maple neck plays pleasantly, with its ‘C’ profile sitting comfortably in the hand, providing a silky and smooth feel on the palm for an articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard is solid under the fingers and offers an attractive and tactile playing surface, and its 7.25" radius working in conjunction with the Vintage-Style frets to give the player an authentically classic feel, allowing for vibrato techniques and complex fingerings to be played with ease.

The Fender Vintage-Style Strat Single-Coil pickups grant all the classic Stratocaster tones that you could wish for. The bridge pickup provides bright and glistening trebles with plenty of shimmer and spank when needed. The middle pickup produces glassy highs and a full warm mid-to-low end, lending itself well to rhythm playing and punchy, snappy funk tones. The neck pickup gives more rounded, creamier tones, great for chordal passages or speedy lead lines. The classic Fender 5-way blade awards the player with further tonal tweaking and sonic experimentation for dialling in the perfect tone for almost any musical scenario.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates some light indentation towards the top edge that does not pierce the finish. The top edges demonstrate consistent light indentation, piercing the finish slightly in places. Light to moderate scratching is apparent to all aspects of the headstock, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.

Neck: Overall very good condition, a moderate chip is apparent to the treble side edge of the fingerboard between the nut and the 1st fret. The rear of the neck demonstrates very light scratching and indentation throughout the register, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles and difficult to discern beneath the thumb.

Body: Overall very good condition, a notable chip to the finish is apparent to the edge of the treble side horn, revealing the wood beneath. Some notable scratching is apparent to the rear face of the treble side horn. Similar notable scratching can be identified to the rear face lower bout. The lower bout on both front and rear face demonstrate light indentation, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.

Condition of Frets:

This instrument has had a level and re-crown to ensure improved playability. Due to the vintage frets, there is a small amount of material remaining for future fret work.

Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
