This is my Fender Custom Shop '68 Reissue Heavy Relic Stratocaster from 2008. This is a perfect replica of a 1968 Stratocaster down to the hand-wound Abigail Ybarra initialed pickups. This specific era of Custom Shop guitars are really special in my opinion due to the attention to detail, especially with the period correct case. The U-shaped neck feels really good in hand because of its beefiness and lack of sticky lacquer. This guitar has a pretty gnarly heavy relic finish, but is in like new condition with healthy frets. The only thing this guitar needs is a new tremolo block and arm, because the arm snapped in the block. There is currently a newer, taller bridge saddle on the guitar, but the original saddle, along with the back plate screws, are in the paper spring envelope. Also included with this guitar is it's original hard shell case and case candy, including the ashtray bridge cover and back plate. I am really sad to let this guitar go as it has been one of my favorites, but I'm hoping it will find a new home with an owner who appreciates it as much as I do. Let me know if you have any questions or need any additional photos, and thank you so much for checking this out.
