Very Rare Tama BE546 Artwood Birdseye All Maple Snare 14"x 6.5"

Made in Japan back in late 80s, this is a top snare model produced by Tama at that time. This snare is made by all birdseye maple for a 9-ply 6mm thick shell. The tone is crisp and very "maplely" warm and cracking when tuned up high.

The overall condition of the snare is excellent and clean. All the hardware are fully functional and clean, especially a rarely new looking badge.
It has 2 extra holes because the previous owner had a new lug(omni tune lug) installed for repair purposes. I put the original lugs back, so the holes are now visible.
They don't really interfere with the performance, and they don't stand out either.
