Up for sale is a vintage Conn Director Bb trumpet, made in the USA in the early–mid 1960s (serial #969856).
This is a classic student-model horn from Conn, known for its durability and warm tone—great for beginners, marching band use, or as a reliable backup instrument.
Condition:
Good overall playing condition. The trumpet has smooth valve action and all tuning slides move freely. It plays well with solid compression.
Cosmetically, it shows typical wear for its age, including:
- Some lacquer loss
- A few minor dents and dings
- Missing 3rd valve slide ring
These issues are cosmetic and do not affect playability.
