Condition
Very clean and well cared for. A couple of small dings on the neck-purely cosmetic and do not affect playability. Otherwise presents extremely well.
Top Detail
Under certain lighting, a subtle flame figure reveals itself beneath the Ebony finish —a great hidden touch that gives this guitar a little extra character without taking away from the classic look.
Tone / Feel
Everything you want from a great R8-thick low end, woody mids, and clear, open highs. The
Custombuckers deliver that classic PAF character with excellent dynamics and note separation. The
'58 carve feels substantial but comfortable.
Why This One
Most R8s are bursts. This isn't.
If you want the feel and tone of a '58 Standard but with a darker, more aggressive visual, this one stands out immediately.
