Lovies Guitars is excited to present this 2011 Gibson Custom Shop ’56 Les Paul Reissue Electric Guitar finished in classic Gold Top. This beautifully executed reissue from the Gibson Custom Shop captures the unmistakable look, feel, and tone of the mid-’50s Les Paul era. With its solid mahogany body and carved maple top, this guitar delivers thick, punchy lows, rich midrange growl, and sweet, articulate highs with exceptional sustain.

The Gold Top finish paired with vintage-correct styling makes this a timeless and highly desirable Les Paul, while the ’56 P-90 platform is known for its dynamic response, edge-of-breakup clarity, and raw, expressive tone.

This guitar comes complete with its Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).

This example remains largely original with the exception of CTS potentiometers installed and non-original strap buttons. Otherwise, it is a clean and well-preserved Custom Shop build.

Condition is rated at 9.7/10 – Excellent. There is very light buckle rub on the back along with a few tiny surface scuffs. Overall, this is an exceptionally clean and lightly played example.
