The Gibson L-5 is a classic hollowbody archtop designed by Lloyd Loar as their premier offering. It is known for its large 17-inch body constructed of a solid Spruce top with solid Maple back/sides. The tone is tight, dry, and super focused, a defining feature of archtops of the "swing" era, a charming and distinct representation of Americana. This particular example is super clean with a repaired hinge on the tailpiece, a repro pickguard/bracket, and newer frets for smoother playability. An absolute time capsule and a joy to play! Includes original hardshell case.
