Purchased new in 2011 after comparing it against two other R-122’s. This one, though, definitively had a noticeable beauty and gain through its high end frequencies. This Royer was very lightly used in home studio (just 2 or 3 times on vocals) and then stored away safely in its wooden case. If you’ve been searching for a versatile ribbon mic, you’ll really be pleased with this “cherry-picked” beauty. It truly is an awesome sounding mic in nearly new condition!
