Updated for 2026, the MTD Kingston Saratoga Deluxe 4 keeps the familiar Saratoga design while adding upgraded specs for a more refined, boutique-style playing experience. This 4-string electric bass features an ash body, roasted maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, active/passive electronics, MTD JJ pickups, and licensed Hipshot Ultralite tuners.

The roasted maple neck improves stability and gives the instrument a smooth, broken-in feel. MTD’s asymmetrical neck shape and compound 10"-14" fingerboard radius make the bass comfortable for long sessions, while the Buzz Feiten Tuning System supports accurate intonation across the neck.

Each MTD Kingston Saratoga Deluxe is quality controlled and set up in Kingston, NY by experienced technicians. The MTD Quick Release bridge makes string changes quick and easy, while licensed Hipshot Ultralite tuners provide tuning confidence without adding excess weight at the headstock.

The onboard active preamp gives you boost and cut across bass, middle, and treble. Flip into passive mode to couple the hum-cancelling J-style pickups directly to the output and engage the passive tone control for classic response.
