Up for sale is an early-production Fender Stratocaster Ultra from 1990, finished in a timeless Sunburst and bearing an N0-prefix serial (N002462)—placing it in the very first year of this top-tier model.

The Stratocaster Ultra represented the pinnacle of production-line innovation for Fender at the start of the 1990s, and early examples like this are becoming increasingly sought after. Built in the USA with upgraded appointments, this model was designed to deliver enhanced tone, playability, and aesthetics beyond the standard Strat.

This guitar retains its original Lace Sensor pickups, known for their clarity, low noise, and versatile tonal range—from glassy cleans to smooth, driven tones. The instrument offers the refined feel and build quality that defined Fender’s early ’90s output, a period now gaining recognition among collectors as “modern vintage.”

The Sunburst finish gives this piece a classic, timeless look, while the Ultra’s premium features make it stand apart both sonically and visually.

Whether you’re a collector seeking an early example of a now-respected model, or a player wanting a high-quality USA Strat with unique character, this guitar delivers on both fronts.
