This is one of the ‘holy grail’ early Boss pedals- the SG-1 Slow Gear. It was only built in Japan in small numbers between 1979-1982 and has never been reissued. It is a unique, warm swell/reverse-decay effect that can make a guitar/bass sound like a violin/cello. Controls are Sensitivity (to adjust triggering threshold) and Attack (for the speed/duration of the swell). It has dents and dings and only a few very tiny scratches. The sound is fantastic. The pedal is all-black, including the base sticker. Like all Boss pedals of this era, it runs best either on an internal 9V battery, or on the older Boss ACA-type power supply (unregulated 12V, not included). Shipping to USA only and shipping is getting expensive. Thanks for looking!
