Vintage 1940's Turner 34X Crystal Microphone, upgraded fidelity, cable-Iso stand

Offering this very cool 1st generation 1940's Turner Model 34 Dynamic Microphone. These were originally outfitted with a crystal pickup, but the element was DOA. We replaced it with a superior quality Shure 57 dynamic capsule, with much-improved fidelity and output. (Check the voice sample in the listing video.)

Overall, the condition is very fine, has been total disassembled and sanitized, and displays as nice as it sounds. The mic stand threads are in great shape, and includes both short adapter cable terminating with a male XLR plug, plus the heavily-weighted, adjustable-height iron Desk Stand. NOTE: If you don't need the desk stand, we can trade it for free shipping.

The Turner 34 is one of the most striking microphone styles ever created. The "fin" featured proudly on this model became a trademark for the company. This same mic style is still being replicated today by the Heil Microphone Company.** Always safe, fast fair shipping, plus we offer combined shipping when making multiple purchases.**
