Self-Tuning Electric Guitar!
USED! Just in on consignment!
The 2007 Gibson Les Paul Robot First Edition (First Run) is a landmark, limited-production guitar featuring the world's first automated self-tuning system, released on December 7, 2007. It is characterized by a unique Blue Silver Burst nitrocellulose finish, ebony fretboard, and blue-tinted metallic flake, often found in a specialized silver hardshell case. This one was purchased by one of a regular, long-time clients specifically as a collector piece, and it is in immaculate original condition with the original case, charger and shipping box.
Production & Rarity: Approximately 3,000–4,000 units were made, with the Blue Silver Burst color specifically promised by Gibson to be used only for this release. The body is reminiscent of a Les Paul Studio (often without top binding), but features a bound neck and a custom shop-style bound headstock with a mother-of-pearl logo. It’s outfitted with the Tronical-designed motorized tuners and a master control knob (MCK) to initiate tuning, which allows for multiple, user-defined, or preset tunings. The system is powered by a rechargeable battery pack. A pair of 490R and 498T humbucking pickups provide the classic Les Paul tone you are used to. Special "Robot" truss rod cover is also included. Like all our used/vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and priced to move. The condition is excellent without any serious issues, damage, repairs, etc…. Freshly setup and adjusted in our shop. Works as it should. Hardly any signs of use at all, as it was strictly collector owned. Sold-as is. What you see is what you get.
