Suhr Classic T Antique Trans Butterscotch Electric Guitar
Suhr is well known for its S-style guitars, but the brand’s interpretation of the Telecaster platform is equally refined. The Classic T Antique combines classic T-style character with practical modern upgrades, including an Even C Medium neck profile, SSCII noise reduction system, stainless steel frets, and a Wilkinson compensated 3-saddle bridge.
For electronics, this model pairs an SSV humbucker in the neck position with a Classic T bridge pickup, creating a highly usable modern T-style setup. It retains the familiar snap, clarity, and direct response of a traditional Tele-style guitar while improving stability, playability, and noise control.
Visually, this Classic T Antique features an aged nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Trans Butterscotch. In addition to its vintage-inspired appearance, the thin lacquer finish helps preserve the resonance of the swamp ash body. As a Custom-spec example, it offers more refined aging detail and more visually striking wood selection than a standard production model.
