Fender Stratocaster ST-68 reissue MIJ scalloped fretboard 2006-2016 - Olympic white relic

Here's a greatly playable japanese olymic white strat with some extra-features :

1) a professionnally made body relic, a wish from a previous owner, because japanese don't do that as far as I know.... but so many players love relic bodies, me included, it gives a great look and a mojo

2) original scalloped fretboard, great for getting a malmsteen/blackmore vibe. Scallopping frocess is light, not digged like the malmsteen signatures, therefore giving you a sweet spot between chords and solos, the guitar is more playable in any situation. The maple neck is smooth and not sticky at all.

The body is made of basswood, which is great. John Norum from Europe said he enjoys strats with basswood bodies, because for hard rock and heavy metal, middles and basses are enhanced, although alder tempts to give too many trebbles. I have played this strat for a while and I agree with that. vintage rock is possible even with the current texas special pickups.

a good and original japanese strat for the price. No absolute need for a fancy custom shop : this simple strat looks great, plays great, and its price range will make you live onstage because you won't be afraid about anything bad to happen.

Sold with tremolo bar and a hard fender case.
