Offered for a brief window in the early '70s, the SG Deluxe was intended to replaced the SG Standard but never took off the way it was intended. The control cavity route done to the top was the most controversial, but in hindsight was quite practical and matches the look of the time. It comes with a Gibson-branded vibrato, block inlay and powerful and super versatile T-Top pickups. This one is dialed in perfectly and all set to go.
This example is in all original condition, with a pair of T-Top humbuckers and a medium C neck profile. It has a slimmer nut width of 1 9/16". Serial #614533, comes with the original case. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details any repairs & changes of note.
